Chellaston Players perform the majority of productions at St Peter's Church Hall in Chellaston. Please note the following information about this venue.
How to find us
The Church Hall is located next to St Peter's Church in the heart of Chellaston. If you are turning into St Peter's Road from High Street, the Church Hall is up the drive immediately on your left. Note the the drive into the Vicarage is at the far left, keep to the right and you'll see the Church Hall right in front of you.
A limited number of spaces are available in the Church Hall car park. If full, you can park on the road, however please be aware that this is a bus route and if you park in a way that a bus cannot get through, the driver will call the police and you will be pulled out of the audience to move your vehicle. It has happened more than once! There is a small drive (Yews Drive) leading off the car park with a couple of houses at the end. Please don't block access to the drive for the residents. Chellaston Players cannot accept any responsibility for issues caused by inconsiderate parking.
Taking photographs, videoing or recording of any part of our performances, whether by camera, mobile phone, tablet, or any other recording device, is strictly prohibited.
The hall has step free access and there is a newly refurbished disabled toilet facility.
Some of our productions involve the use of flashing lights, gunshots and/or haze effects. Where any of these are used a warning notice will be displayed at the hall. If you would like clarification prior to booking tickets for any of our shows please do ask when you call or email to book.
You can usually purchase refreshments before our shows and during the interval. Generally these are tea, coffee, squash, wine, and bottled beer, plus a free biscuit!
We welcome bookings from groups, anyone booking ten or more tickets for a show will get all tickets at the concession price.
