Autumn 2018 production

Audition news!!! After a very successful (and hilarious!) read through session we are excited to be performing the comedy "The Opposite Sex" by David Tristram. There are 4 people in the cast, 2 male and 2 female, both are married couples. Ages can be fairly flexible - 20s to 40s.

Auditions will take place on FRIDAY, May 18th, 7pm in the back room at St Peter's Church Hall in Chellaston. Everyone (who can play ages between 20 and 50) is welcome, you don't have to have attended the read through to be eligible for audition and you don't need to prepare anything in advance. Note that there is some swearing in the script.

The play will be performed from October 11th to 13th, you will need to be available every evening that week for rehearsals and performances. Rehearsals will take place probably two evenings (probably Tuesdays and Thursdays) a week initially, they may (depending on progress) drop to one evening through the summer.

Anyone taking a part must become a full member of the Company for insurance purposes at a cost of £10 per annum. Obviously those who are already members won't need to pay again until September.

Hope to see you there!

2019 Pantomime

The pantomime in 2019 will be "The Old Woman Who Lives in the Shoe", written by Dave Crump, directed by Cathy Wilson and Elaine Lawrenson. We are holding a script read-through on Thursday 24th May at Chellaston Bowls Club, starting at 6.30pm. Everyone aged 8 or over is welcome to come along! Auditions will be held on Thursday June 7th at Chellaston Bowls Club starting at 6.30pm. NB: There will be specific requirements for anyone aged under 16 in order to obtain the performance licence - more details will appear here in due course.
